Tioga Cemetery is centrally located in Tioga County and offers it's visitors easy access to loved one's memorials and last resting places. The cemetery is well kept year round.

The downstate New York region is full of great scenary. I worked for (IBM) in Owego and occasioanally this monument was visited during lunch. The monument dead ends at the end of the narrow road of the cemetary. There you are @ 1,000 feet above the river and the view is incredible. Definitely stop and do this if staying or just driving thru Owego. Especially if you are driving in the fall peak season. The monument was dedicated to an Indian woman who lost her life in a local railroad incident (not sure the exact details.) Rt 434 use to be a rail network.
